{"id":284,"date":"2021-08-09T09:22:41","date_gmt":"2021-08-09T14:22:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/609495b192.nxcli.io\/?p=284"},"modified":"2021-08-10T15:42:04","modified_gmt":"2021-08-10T20:42:04","slug":"im-begging-to-think-that-real-talk-is-all-smoke-and-mirrors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radiopoop.com\/?p=284","title":{"rendered":"I&#8217;ve Been Conned!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You have to get up pretty early in the morning to fool the Grand Poopah.\u00a0 \u00a0I was born at night.\u00a0 But not last night.\u00a0 \u00a0But I think <em><strong>I&#8217;ve been conned!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Tracy and Rick Ellis, AKA the <a href=\"https:\/\/radiopoop.com\/?p=281\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Newbees<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0 have been promoting their new radio station(s) for months now.\u00a0 They were supposed to be on the air on July 5th.\u00a0 Then the 12th.\u00a0 Then the 19th.\u00a0 Then the 26th.\u00a0 Then August 2nd.\u00a0 And then we were told absolutely, positively on the air by August 9th.\u00a0 \u00a0Well, it&#8217;s August 10th.\u00a0 \u00a0At least there&#8217;s no more K-Wulf on 93.3.\u00a0 \u00a0But now it&#8217;s a <a href=\"https:\/\/radiopoop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/That-was-some-weird-BLEEP.wav\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>weird<\/strong><\/a> promo featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/radiopoop.com\/?p=287\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Jimmy &#8220;The Viper Voice&#8221; Fish<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 Weird in that it has some long audio cut with some British dude talking about fighting in Afghanistan.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/radiopoop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/That-was-some-weird-BLEEP.wav\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Huh?\u00a0 \u00a0Duh?<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m beginning to think the whole &#8220;Real Talk&#8221; thing is a fake.\u00a0 \u00a0It&#8217;s just a way to sell more real estate!\u00a0 \u00a0That&#8217;s what Tracy and Rick REALLY do.\u00a0 And do well.<\/p>\n<p>All the shows that Tracy was promoting?\u00a0 I think they&#8217;re all Vaporware.\u00a0 No <a href=\"https:\/\/www.senate.mo.gov\/mem23\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Bill Eigel<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 No Hoft bros.\u00a0 \u00a0No <a href=\"https:\/\/radiopoop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Dan_Bongino_cbrad-crop.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Dan Bongino.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile Refugees Jeff Alien and Joe Rush (the former fourth member of the namesake group) are busy adding another station 94.1 to cover the Westplex.\u00a0 And coming soon 97.7 which will cover the JeffCo area.\u00a0 \u00a0These dudes mean biz.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, the Grand Poopah has been conned.\u00a0 \u00a0There is no Real Talk 93.3.\u00a0 \u00a0It&#8217;s all a fig newton of my imagination.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Grand Poopah admits that he&#8217;s been conned!
