Hey, the Grand Poopah has nothing against Dave Murray. But he ain’t local. It’s one of the best kept secrets in STL media. When Dave retired from Channel 2 he put on his shoes and moved to California where he does all of his STL weather forecasts. Yeah, I know that you can do practically anything from anywhere because of all the info that’s on the web. But I think a local weather dude who can look out his window and see the same weather we’re all experiencing in Archville adds a little more credibility to the forecasts.
Having said that it was good to hear that the Refugees have hired Steve Templeton, the Channel 4 Meteorite Dude, for forecasts on 101.9. Local weather, from a local weather guy on a local station. What a concept. Definitely not McRadio.
